Quickstart

Sign in, link a repo, and wire Cursor in three commands.

Cursor is the only agent that is live. Other editors are coming soon.

1. Create a project#

Sign up at stacktaste.com and create a project.

2. Grant this machine#

In the repo:

A browser tab opens. Pick one project. The token is stored in the OS keychain, never in git.

Press Ctrl+C after login if you want to init later.

The wizard asks:

  • Which project (skipped if the grant has one)
  • Where .stacktaste/ should live (repo root or a subfolder)
  • Which agent (pick Cursor)

Then it pulls team taste, writes stacktaste.config.json, and wires Cursor MCP, hooks, and .cursor/rules.

4. Open Cursor#

Start a chat in that repo. StackTaste attaches ranked taste at session start. Blocking policies always apply.
